KwikTag document imaging software connects people, processes and paper. This enterprise-class, business-critical solution streamlines the paper-intensive business activities associated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. KwikTag combines unmatched simplicity with operational flexibility to meet the needs of a single department or across the entire organization. KwikTag is fully integrated to work the way you work, right inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV, without the need for new or complicated work processes or scanning operations. Benefits of KwikTag for Microsoft Dynamics NAV Reduce Document Filing/ Retrieval Time and Cost Eliminate Lost and/or Misfiled Documents
Paper gets lost. And, if a document imaging solution introduces change and new process flows, information still gets lost. KwikTag's simplicity and self-auditing capabilities ensure that every document is tracked from the first point of touch through retrieval, and the system ensures that every document is digitally captured. The average cost of finding a misfiled document is $120. The average cost of recreating a lost document is $250. 7.5% of all documents are lost, 3% of the remainder are misfiled. KwikTag removes these costs from your operation and ensures record integrity. Enable Shared Access by Authorized Personnel
Paper documents cannot be shared without costly duplication and distribution. The average business document is copied 19 times - over 81 billion sheets of paper are copied each month. Frequently document operations are centralized and users, approvers or departmental managers are in other buildings, or other cities. KwikTag allows other employees to open the imaged documents simultaneously. You can even email disputed documents to your external suppliers. Secure Access to Sensitive Information
You have no way of really knowing who is looking at which documents when a paper document folder is checked out, (assuming you even know that the folder has been removed). Often folders and documents are left at employee desks, and worse, sometimes removed from the premises. Financial information in the wrong hands can certainly have consequences. KwikTag establishes document image security, enabling viewing, printing, and filing access based on the rules of your business. Improve Your Audits & Compliance Procedures As compliance requirements continue to increase, you are assured your imaged documents are always traceable and accessible. As auditors arrive or standards need to be written, it is easy to identify and retrieve the relevant documentation. And KwikTag can log all document activity, providing audit and security reports to ensure compliance. Regain Valuable Office Space
A significant portion of the average office is devoted to storing paper documents. This commonly results in storing aged documents off-site, making it even more difficult to get information quickly. Minimize Risk for Disaster Recovery / Protection Paper documents are not only vulnerable to loss, but they also become inaccessible by damage or destruction (fire, flood, etc.) to the physical office space. As digital documents, your business records are backed-up, along with your transaction data, in essence creating a risk-free set of information. Standard Journals in General Journals (Available Only in NAV Versions 4.0 and Higher)
|
Did you know that you can save any set of journal entries in a General Journal Batch and recall that set of entries for later use? It is a feature similar to Recurring Journals, but without the Recurring Method and Recurring Frequency fields. The journal entries may be saved as follows:Once you have made your General Journal Entries, but prior to posting, you can click Functions->Save as Standard Journal.
The following Options window will appear:
You may provide a new Code to save the entries under, or look up an existing Code and overwrite the existing set of journal entries. You can then provide a description of the set of entries and choose whether or not to save the Amounts on the Journal Lines.
Clicking OK will save the set of journal entries under the Code provided. If you looked up an existing Code, the system will ask you to confirm that you wish to overwrite the existing saved journal. Once you have saved a set or sets of General Journal entries, you can retrieve them by choosing Functions->Get Standard Journals.
The following Options window will appear:
Choose the Standard General Journal that you wish to load and click OK. The General Journal Batch from which you initiated the function will be populated with the saved entries. |
