Delaware Valley School District Selects Microsoft Dynamics NAV to
Streamline Business Operations

Baltimore, MD – October 28, 2008 – Delaware Valley School District selected Microsoft Gold Certified partner, AVF Consulting, to upgrade the district's financial management software to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a comprehensive financial and human resources management software tailored to meet the specific needs of Pennsylvania school districts.

"We began looking for a replacement for the AS400 system that we had been using for over 20 years,"  says Dr. Candis Finan, superintendent of Delaware Valley School District. "Our old software was extremely outdated, inflexible, and no longer met the needs of our business office or the district.  We wanted a system that worked with our current infrastructure, was cost effective, and allowed us to function with high efficiency."

Microsoft Dynamics NAV provides Delaware Valley with extensive functionality including GL, HR, online bidding, and PA state reporting. Using Microsoft Dynamics NAV, districts can drill down to detailed information within the budget and general ledger, perform simple data exports to Microsoft Excel, and manage all aspects of human resources and payroll. Microsoft Dynamics NAV also features online bidding capabilities and a streamlined purchase order process via web portals.

"NAV integrates with all of our current district applications and provides us with the ability to go to one source to view the economic state of our district," says Dr. Finan. "In the past, we've had to pull data from various sources, which was time consuming and tedious."
