EFSnet Update | Tips and Tricks |
| AVF has created a new product called K12 Enterprise. The product is based upon the customizations AVF made to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for our Pennsylvania school district customers. K12 Enterprise made its formal debut at Pennsylvania's Association for School Business Officials (PASBO) annual conference March 31-April 3. K12 Enterprise's development was driven by the need for school business officials to have a robust financial and human resource management software that addressed the specific needs of school systems. The product will be marketed nationally and sold through a network of Microsoft Gold Certified partners. AVF will continue to provide K12 Enterprise to school districts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. The K12 Enterprise website will launch on May 1, 2009. Please visit it next Friday and let us know what you think. www.K12Enterprise.com. |

Have you ever chosen the Post & Print option from a Journal in Dynamics NAV and received no Journal Register report after the process has been completed? This is a fairly common issue in Navision. The cause is due to the fact that the Journal Register report printed from the posting of a Journal is the same report that is run from the Financial Management->General Ledger->Reports->Entries->G/L Register menu selection. When the report is run from the menu selection and filter criteria are applied (e.g. a Register No.), that filter criteria is saved for that report. This saved filter criteria interferes with the printing of the report when run from the Journal Post & Print option. The simple solution to this problem is to run the G/L Register report from the menu selection, clear any and all filter criteria in all tabs on the report options window, then click Preview button. This will begin processing the report for all Registers, but you can simply press the ESC key to interrupt the processing. This should allow the report to print the next time the Post & Print function is performed.
